Blog Post 3: Research Gap

 My research topic has a knowledge gap. Below is the paragraph from my literature review where I touch on this topic:

Though this literature goes in depth about how language is manipulated, and then weaponized to discriminate against women, there is a knowledge gap. There is a lot of qualitative data out there about language, but not very much quantitative data. One way to create quantitative data from language analysis is a content analysis. There needs to be a content analysis on gender's impact on language. Specifically, the language in sports.

    I think this sounds great! Maybe also include an example of a test that you or another researcher could perform in the future that could gather more quantitative data.
